time is fleeting

My studio is a mess...again. The floor is strewn with oversize red sausage bags and backpacks. In various piles there are stacks of thermal underwear, raincapes, mittens, gloves, beanies, sunhats and too many other sorts of clothing to describe. I write and rewrite lists of 'to do', 'to buy', 'to bring'--even in my sleep. No matter how many times I go over it SOMETHING important will be left behind. One day it will be too simple to pack for the two old farts going on holiday--I hope. Until then I must gird my loins against the inevitable wrath that will be directed towards me. How could I leave behind his ipod cable and so on.
Yesterday I goofed off and accompanied Beloved to yet another collectibles fair. He is still looking for the bib and bobs he needs for his defunct technology series. I whiled away the time taking happy snaps of some lovely --if elderly; lovely ladies.

Another wonderful photograph; reading your short memo for yesterday is like reading an excerpt of a very good book.
ah, packing and not only packing but packing for everyone! Perhaps others should pack up first and then have mom come by and do an inspection? I am sure that they would not miss the ipod cord...and mom would catch the lack of clean underwear.
It must be getting pretty close to the big trip. Four days away pooped me out and I didn't have to worry about 5 men to look after. Rest up and fortify yourself. and don't worry. Most of what you don't have you won't need or you can buy.
Just tell them you are a failed packer as well - let them choose their own underwear!
Do you have room in a suitcase for one very small photographer?
I wish I had room for all of you
