Private Practice of the Public Artist reveals the private practice of eight high profile artists who work in the public domain. This exhibition will explore the complex inter-relationship between their public and private practices and how they may inform or diverge from the other.

The panel of eight exhibiting artists will discuss how their private art practice diverges from or informs their public art practice, the role of the public artist in place making, how artists retain artistic integrity while satisfying stakeholders, and the incorporation of art into architecture and urban design.
